
Double-click on that icon. The installer will start. Choose "I Accept the terms of the License Agreement". Click "Next". Choose "Standard". Click "Next". Click "Finish". The following import window will pop up.

Click "Next". Click "Yes" to make Thunderbird the default mail application.

Open the account settings window.

Click "Add Account...", choose "Email account" and next.

Enter your name and email address as we provided it and choose next.

Enter your user name as we provided it and choose next.

You can costumize the account name if you like. After choosing a name, press next.

Double-check your settings. If all is ok, press finish.

Your email is configured now. But some internet providers block port 25 to keep worms inside. For such networks, you have to change the mail server's SMTP port to use the submission port. Edit the outgoing mail server as on the pictures


If you send or receive a mail, Thunderbird will ask for the password. You may save the password for your convenience.
